Last Saturday Uruguay’s National Football Team got kicked out of the 2014 World Cup at the “Round of 16” by losing against Colombia.
Luis Suárez aside, it was a sad day for all of us at Go English but we wanted to take the best out of that situation and found the light in the words of one of the best English writers of all time: Charles Dickens.
Suffering has been stronger than all other teaching (…). I have been bent and broken, but —I hope— into a better shape.
These words were part of his play named Great Expectations. Fortunately, we still have many of those 🙂
